Leaves, Absences, Vacations and Exchanges

Employees shall be notified by 1 December whether or not leave is to be granted and Employees shall confirm acceptance of an offered leave by 31 December. The Academic Unit shall be notified on the same date. Once an Employee’s plan for Sabbatical Leave has been accepted, they are expected to carry it out. Employees may only be granted an exemption if the Head, Dean and Provost are all in agreement. (Art. 24.20)
