Contractually Limited Term Appointment

Nine-and-one-half-month (9.5) CLT appointments shall begin on 1 August prior to commencement of classes and end 15 May after the end of classes, and five- (5) month CLT appointments shall begin on 1 August prior to commencement of classes or 1 December prior to commencement of classes, provided that a Professor who receives a second CLT appointment in the same academic year shall commence that appointment no earlier than 1 January and it shall be for a maximum of four-and-one-half (4.5) months.
