Responsibilities of Head for Career Development Meetings

In the case of a Head, the career development meeting shall take place between the Head and the Dean by 30 June. The Dean shall write a letter to the Head assessing and commenting on the four areas of performance outlined in Article 12.83 or 43.71 as appropriate by 15 July. If the Dean assesses performance to be unsatisfactory in any of the four areas, the Dean shall give reasons for the assessment and outline the agreed-upon plan for remedies in accordance with Article 15.50 (f). If the Head disagrees with the Dean’s evaluation of any area, the Head may append written comments to the letter by 31 July. (Art. 15.60(e))
